Is the Saucony Tempus the Future of Stability Shoes?

Is the Saucony Tempus the Future of Stability Shoes?

Saucony’s new Tempus defies easy categorization. Is it a stability shoe? Yes; it provides strong foot support and guidance when you need it. Is it a speedy, lightweight, cushioned trainer and racer? Again, yes; it weighs in at under nine ounces, wraps the foot with a svelte, stretchy hold, and delivers a smooth, plush, propulsive ride. Few running shoes manage to excel in all of these categories. The Tempus’s peppy underfoot feel stems from a full-length midsole of Pwrrun PB, an ultralight, high-cushioning, and maximum-rebounding polyether block amide–based foam (PEBA). Saucony uses this same foam to power the Endorphin Pro, its top-end, carbon-plated, marathon-racing super shoe, and the Endorphin Speed, a popular up-tempo training shoe. Shimano RC7 shoe review

Shimano RC7 shoe review

The Shimano RC7 is the second road cycling shoe in the brand’s pecking order behind the premium Shimano S-Phyre RC902. Overall, Shimano has tinkered with, rather than overhauled, the latest version of the RC7, but that’s largely no bad thing. The sole is more flexible and the Boa dials are less sophisticated than on the pricier S-Phyre RC902s, being only adjustable one way. The insole doesn’t come with the S-Phyre RC902’s adjustable arch inserts. But the RC7 does have the S-Phyre RC902’s wraparound closure system, and it remains a brilliant all-round road cycling shoe at £130 less. Shimano RC7 shoe specs and options Boa dials form part of the RC7’s solid spec. Steve Sayers / Our Media The RC7 carbon fibre composite sole registers at 10/12 on Shimano’s own stiffness index. ...

Kizik Shoes That road and light-trail model (best suited for nothing more technical than a gravel road) blistered his Achilles because of the high collar. Pat warned me about this before I laced up the Race Rebel for testing. The good new...
Buy shoes in afternoon, healthy back campaign recommends

Buy shoes in afternoon, healthy back campaign recommends

Experts claim that shoes should be bought in the afternoon, as feet swell during the day and are at their widest in the evening. A healthy back campaign in Germany is calling on consumers to avoid buying shoes at the wrong time of day, as this can have a negative impact on how comfortable the shoes are and, more importantly, lead to back pain, among other problems. It’s also a good idea to wear the same socks you are likely to wear most often with the shoes, according to guidance from Britain’s National Health Service (NHS). A good shoe will promote a natural rolling of the foot and be cushioned at the most heavily used points, such as the heel. The sole, meanwhile, should be more flexible and not made of a hard material, experts say. If you wear insoles to support splayfoot, f...
Cuater The Ringer Golf Shoes Review

Cuater The Ringer Golf Shoes Review

Cuater The Ringer Golf Shoes Review I have been lucky enough to test a lot of golf shoes over the past year and I can easily say the Cuater Ringer shoes are one of the best golf shoes(opens in new tab), and one of my favorites, on the market right now. A model worn by Jon Rahm(opens in new tab) and Sam Burns(opens in new tab) on the PGA Tour, the Ringer's are very comfortable indeed thanks to the Sweet Spot Cushioning System which felt soft and springy as well as supportive. Ultimately the fit is snug,Nobull Shoes  the interior is very soft and I really enjoyed the cushioning too. When putting my foot into the shoe for the first time, I knew immediately I wasn't going to have any issues with uncomfortable rubbing or blisters, and the fit was secure from heel to toe. I had actually b...
