(AP) — One of the jurors in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial served improperly, an attorney for Heard alleged in a recent filing that asked the court to declare a mistrial and order a new trial. “Newly discovered facts” show Juror No. 15 in the six-week trial was not the individual summoned in April to serve in the case, Heard's attorney wrote in a five-page memo filed Friday in Virginia's Fairfax Circuit Court. Nancy Gonzalez was arrested in her hometown of Cali, Colombia, and faces charges in the U.S. Southern District of Florida that could result in up to 25 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. The handbags can sell for up to $10,000 in designer stores in the United States and Europe. Gonzalez made accessories that have been used by characters in the "Sex and the City" TV series, as well as other celebrities. High-end fashion rental service the David Casavant Archive is suing Kanye West on claims the artist owes hundreds of thousands of dollars for failing to return or pay fees on several "rare, esteemed pieces," according to company lawyers. The David Casavant Archive is a New York City-based collection of "the world's rarest and most coveted garments," according to the company's website. It has worked with West for years, as well as several other high-profile celebrities including Paul McCartney, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga. Apparently jorts are a big thing in fashion now, especially with everyone in Northern Hemisphere vacation mode. I had to do further investigation, because I wasn’t exactly sure what jorts actually are. Well, jorts are jean shorts apparently, but not the micro-short Daisy Duke version we are used to. These jorts are knee-length jeans, with a ripped edge, mostly high-waisted. Woah. That’s one of the most difficult things to pull off that I can imagine.
