Hungarian leader says Donald Trump will end the war in Ukraine by not giving ‘a penny’

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said Donald Trump would effectively end the war in Ukraine by cutting off funding to Kyiv, should the former United States president return to power in November. "He (Trump) has a very clear vision," Orban said in an interview to Hungarian broadcaster M1 broadcast on Sunday. "He says the following: first, he will not give a single penny for the Russo-Ukrainian war. That's why the war will end, because it's obvious that Ukraine cannot stand on its own two feet." Police said detectives were waiting for a formal determination of the cause of death and "any additional findings that might shed further light on the circumstances surrounding" the end of Barnett's life. Police noted "the global attention this case has garnered." US authorities have reported the death of former Boeing manager and whistleblower John Barn...

It's also a sign of how hard it is for the monarchy to control its own narrative in the social-media era. "Social media has empowered the royals to curate their public image in new ways," royal historian Ed Owens said on Tuesday. The photo of the Princess of Wales and her children intended to calm speculation about her health (left) and the inconsistencies that caused concern it had been digitally manipulated (right). And that end user … desires greater insight, greater intimate detail about what exactly has been going on behind closed doors." ...
