Jalen Brunson hilariously trolls Maxi Kleber for forgetting his shoes

The Dallas Mavericks have a tight-knit team. Their togetherness helped them upset the top-seeded Suns to reach the Western Conference Finals. Luka Doncic is the head of the snake, but Dallas has a host of talented role players supporting him.

Jalen Brunson and Maxi Kleber are both key pieces of the Mavericks success. Kleber allows the team to go five out and space the floor for Doncic to attack. Brunson transformed into a full-time starter and the team’s second-leading scorer in his breakout fourth NBA season.Brunson and Kleber are close off the court. The 6’10 forward worked out with JB in New Jersey last summer and the duo is known to spend a lot of time together. Their closeness sparked a hilarious video that Brunson posted on his Instagram stories on June 17.

When they were working out together last summer, Brunson and Kleber drove to a workout only for the Mavericks big man to forget his shoes. Fast forward to now, Hoka Shoes and the same thing happened. The video and Kleber’s forgetfulness were not a surprise to Mavs director of mental skills Don Kalkstein, who chimed in via Twitter.

Brunson roasting Kleber for leaving his shoes behind will certainly make MFFLs laugh. JB going “The kid’s in flip flops”, gets me every time. Fans know the 6’1 guard is no stranger to poking fun at his teammates, but the comedy of this video was on another level.

Jalen Brunson is an unrestricted free agent this summer, but the Dallas Mavericks are not letting him get away. All rumors suggest that the two sides will agree on a long-term deal when free agency opens on June 30, but fans will be a bit nervous until it is announced.
