Human bones found inside a submerged car near two US state lines in 2021 have been matched to a college student who had been missing for 47 years, according to a Georgia sheriff. Kyle Clinkscales, 22, of LaGrange, in Georgia, vanished in January 1976 after leaving the Georgia club where he worked as a bartender to return to school at Auburn University in neighboring Alabama. A US television news employee was shot dead and another wounded while covering an earlier fatal shooting incident in Orlando, Florida. Orange County Sheriff John Mina told a news conference that the employees worked for broadcaster Spectrum News 13. A baby girl who was born under the rubble of her family’s earthquake-shattered home has left the hospital and gone to her new home, where she will live with her paternal aunt’s family. The girl had been at the hospital since hours after the February 6 earthquake. She was discharged Saturday and her aunt and uncle adopted her and gave her a new name, Afraa, after her late mother. Afraa's mother died in the quake along with her father and four siblings.
