Six missing workers ‘presumed dead’ and search cancelled after Baltimore bridge disaster
All six workers missing in the aftermath of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore are now presumed dead, with the search for them called off.
The collapse occurred after a massive container ship lost power early Tuesday and crashed into the bridge, sending people and vehicles into the frigid river, officials said.
Two people were pulled from the ensuing wreckage alive. A day later a body was found and the search continued for six more. They are now all presumed dead.
