Twelve people injured as Qatar Airways plane hits turbulence on flight to Dublin

Twelve people have been injured, including eight taken to hospital, as a Qatar Airways plane flying from Doha to Dublin hit turbulence, airport authorities say. Dublin Airport said in a statement that flight QR017, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, landed safely as scheduled before 1pm on Sunday (10pm AEST). The airport said upon landing the aircraft was met by emergency services, including airport police and the fire and rescue department, "due to six passengers and six crew … reporting injuries after the aircraft experienced turbulence while airborne over Turkey". Rare encounter with ‘very large sharks’ captured off Ireland

When wildlife photographer Florian Walsh noticed "activity" in the waters off Ventry Bay Beach, near Dingle in Ireland, he raced back home knowing he and his friends were witnessing something rare. Walsh picked up his drone, drove back to the grey glass harbour and launched the device, in the hopes of recording the rare shiver of "very large sharks". He told 9news.com.au the scenes he captured on April 29 - are ones he "will never forget".
