Trump watches on as SpaceX calls off catch attempt as booster splashes down to Earth

Just weeks after SpaceX stunned audiences with a precision landing of a giant rocket booster, the company has kicked off another test flight of the most powerful launch vehicle ever built. SpaceX again planned an attempt to steer the booster back into the mechanical arms — or "chopsticks"— of a launch tower, but did not meet the required criteria and has abandoned today's attempt of the booster catch. The nearly 121-metre Starship system took flight on November 19 from the company's Starbase facility near Brownsville, Texas. UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The war in Ukraine and its visiting president take center stage at the United Nations this week, but developing countries will be vying for the spotlight as well as they push for faster action on poverty and inequality at the first full-on meeting of world leaders since the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted travel three years ago. The annual meeting at the U.N.
