Footwear retailer Crocs is bringing back its “Free Pair for Healthcare” promotion and will give away free shoes and scrubs to healthcare workers for the next week.
The promotion will run from noon ET on Friday, May 6 to noon ET on Thursday, May 12.
To receive a free pair of shoes and scrubs, healthcare workers can visit Crocs’ website at noon to submit a request. A draw will be held to determine recipients.National Nurses Day starts Friday, May 6, and National Nurses Week through May 12.
Crocs has given away nearly 1 million pairs of shoes through the program since its debut in 2020.
The popular footwear brand has teamed up with FIGS this year to recognize the healthcare workers who have been battling COVID-19 on the front lines.
“Most of us today now get to live comfortably thanks to Hoka Shoes their tireless efforts, but we want to recognize that healthcare professionals are still taking care of our community day in and day out. We are grateful to those who continue to respond and want to let you know we are still with you,” a statement on Crocs’ website read.
Crocs have become very popular outside of the healthcare workspace the last few years. The company has seen an increase in revenue as the clog brand has gained traction with teenagers, athletes and others looking for leisure during the pandemic.
A pair of classic, colorful foam clogs are the most popular style and known for comfort. The company’s motto is “comfort is the key to happiness.”
